7 Steps to create Google voice

Google Voice is a telephone service that provides call forwarding and voicemail services, voice and text messaging, as well as U.S. and international call termination for Google Account customers in the United States. The service was launched on March 11, 2009, after the acquisition of the GrandCentral service.

Google Voice allows users to consolidate multiple communication devices into a single number, and receive calls and messages on any of the linked devices. The service also provides features not available on traditional phone networks, such as voicemail transcripts and call blocking.

Creating a Google Voice account is a simple process. All you need is a Google account and a U.S. mobile number.

1. Go to voice.google.com and sign in with your Google account.

2. If you don’t have a Google account, you can create one now.

3. Enter your mobile number to get started.

4. Google Voice will send you a verification code via text message. Enter the code to continue.

5. Choose your Google Voice number. You can either use your current mobile number or select a new one.

6. Google Voice will port your mobile number to the Google Voice service. This may take up to 24 hours.

7. Once your number has been ported, you can start using Google Voice!
